We route our water from inland, use it, contain it and then flush it out to sea once processed in some way…
We are draining the land of its moisture and hoping that water from the sea will somehow evaporate in the amounts of vapour we need in order to put back what we’ve taken out. There is a limit to how much rain we can have, even the most rain ever is going to be limited by the evaporation capacities that naturally exist. We have to give the water back to the land sooner than the current process. The land needs to be given back water earlier on in order to replenish itself. Evaporation and precipitation cannot be the sole sources of replenishment to refill the various water sources…
